Welcome
Welcome to Art Conspiracy III - an event that's equal parts bright idea and elbow grease. When this event started back in 2005 we weren't sure if anyone would come. To see the Texas Theater fill up was amazing, it felt a lot like the last scene in Field of Dreams where you see all of the headlights in a line heading to the baseball field. Ditto with last year at The Longhorn Ballroom. So if you bought a ticket this year's event here at The Door, we have two simple words for you: THANK YOU. The amount of support and committment Art Conspiracy has received from a wide variety of sectors of the community has been incredible.
Art Conspiracy strives to put on a fund raiser that reinvests in the local arts economy, create an event that promotes collaboration between the arts and music communities thereby strengthening Dallas' grassroots cultural scene, give people a chance to view and purchase art in an accesible anti-gallery setting, and of course, to do this all while we're having a heck of a lot of fun.
This year Art Conspiracy is in the process of becoming an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. So, yeah, that means we're sticking around. If you have ideas for us, please visit us at The Art Conspiracy web site (www.artconspiracy.org) and let us know what you're thinking. And again, thank you for supporting your local community.
Sincerely,
The Art Conspiracy Team

It's meant to raise awareness for Art Conspiracy III on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 6pm (100 artists + 3 bands + 2 DJs = 1 Atomic Night) and also raise additional money that will be given to St. Anthony's Community Center in South Dallas so they can continue to provide arts and music programming after school and on weekends. What people are saying.
